Nothing like walking outside and seeing a beautiful poppy plant in bloom! This is what I saw yesterday and look at all of the other babies ready to bloom. To think I almost pulled these plants last fall because I thought they weren't thriving.
Last week, I had to stop at my favorite mom-and-pop nursery because they carry the most unique, healthiest plants. Happy to discover they had the candy corn vine in stock to go on my very cool Halloween-ish metal trellis from sweet Anne. It really does look like a piece of candy corn.
This is my kind of shopping spree! Found some unusual begonias, coleus, papyrus, a balloon flower, herbs, stocks, heirloom tomatoes, and some trailing plants for potting.
