Chia Seeds- It's Not Just for Kitschy Gifts

Check out eatingbirdfood.com.  It's full of healthy recipes and tips.  Discovered this chia pudding and it's delicious and nutritious!  The nice thing is that you can prepare it the night before and viola...no fuss breakfast the next day.  We've experimented with different milks (chocolate soy with bananas is really yummy), adding sliced figs, and nuts.  Brittany explains the benefits of eating chia seeds and the recipe HERE.

I also found these cute turquoise blue canning jars at World Market.  They are perfect for assembling the chia pudding.  Just screw on the lids and shake.  It really helps to incorporate the brown rice protein powder.  Be healthy :)
